Mediacom Laying Communication Lines
Communication lines for Mediacom were being laid underground from an utility pole near Dollar General east toward the Ava Police Department then south under the sidewalk and Springfield Road to connect with the Health Department complex. Workers in the area were having to dodge numerous other utilities while dealing with unmarked fiber optic cabling and rocky soil.
