Cross Country Team Competes in Willow Springs Bringing Home 2 Medals

The Cross Country team ran at the Steve Waggoner Invitational in Willow Springs September 6th.  They took 17 runners to the event.  The Varsity ran a 5K (3.1 mile) race and the Junior Varsity and Junior High ran a 1.5 mile race.  The top 15 finishers in each race received a medal and we had two: Bryce Mings and Eden Little (pictured left).  The boys Varsity team placed second, behind Ozark, out of five full teams from the Class 3/Class 4 division.  Next up for the Bears, on Thursday, the 13th, is the Hollister Cross Country Invitational.
