Bonnie Lou Phipps, 88 years, 6 months, 6 days old, passed away on  August 24, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO with her family by her side.

Bonnie was born February 18, 1930 in Arno, MO to Cecil and Beulah Mae (Hunt) Creech.

One of her first jobs was working in the Douglas County Courthouse with Ted Sallee.  Bonnie retired from Ava Public Schools as an administrative secretary after working there 23 years.  

Bonnie was a Christian and a member of  Life Church in Ava, MO.  She enjoyed flower gardening and quilting.  She loved working at school with all the teachers and principles and the kids. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mauriene Lakey.

Bonnie is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Linda Sue & Roy Freeman, Forsyth, MO, Debra Kay and  Ken Cederlind, Everton, MO, and Cecilia Edwards, Ava, MO,  four grandchildren,  thirteen  great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren,  and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Bonnie were held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with cremation to follow per her wishes. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date in the Arno Cemetery, Ava. Visitation was on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to service time.
