Ava Students Host 9/11 Honors Assembly

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, along with veteran organizations, fire department personnel, and other service agencies, were present for the  9/11 Honors Assembly held at the elementary school. Sergeant Johnson, Deputy Roberts, Deputy Harley and Deputy Reed, shown above, were present as students sang songs and presented Colors. The deputies and many others attending were recognized with a brief introduction.
