Ava Country Club Rebuilding After August Storm Damage

New golf sheds are presently being constructed at the Ava Country Club, and according to board members overseeing the project, the task is well underway as eleven new golf sheds are now framed-in and awaiting the next step.  The new cart building, which will house 22 golf carts, is targeted for completion by the end of this month, if not sooner.  In other areas of the golf course, cleaning up debris continues to be an ongoing project, as the course and areas around the driving range are still in need of attention.  The destruction occurred last month when high winds and torrential rains tore through the Country Club grounds on Friday, August 10.   The storm downed nine large trees, demolished golf cart buildings, and left large tree limbs and debris throughout the top of the hill near the clubhouse.
