Christian County Master Gardeners Schedule Fall Plant Sale and Free Fall Seminar in Nixa
OZARK, Mo. – The Christian County Master Gardeners (CCMG) plan to host their annual fall plant sale from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 22, at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and Main Street in Nixa.
The sale will feature trees, shrubs, natives, perennials and bulbs/rhizomes. Proceeds benefit CCMG’s public gardens, scholarship and other projects.
Members of the CCMG chapter will also host their final free seminar for the year from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Nixa Community Center, 701 N. Taylor Way, Nixa.
Katie Keith, director of the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center, will discuss adding winter interest to gardens in her presentation on “Bare Necessities & Living Accessories in Garden Design.”
Bill Eskes of Grimes Horticulture will present, “What’s New & Exciting for Your Spring 2019 Garden.”
