Explore the Night Sky Sept. 9 at Echo Bluff State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, Aug. 29, 2017 – Explore the fascinating night sky at a Night Sky program Sept. 9 at Echo Bluff State Park south of Salem. The outdoor interpretive program will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Telescopes will be set up to view the stars and Milky Way. Visitors should also bring a set of binoculars for a spectacular view. This is a “dark viewing,” which means there is no moon in the sky so stars take center stage.
Echo Bluff State Park is located 25 miles south of Salem and 14 miles north of Eminence on Highway 19. For more information about the event, call the park at 573-751-1224.
