Annual Meeting Of Ava Rural Fire Dept. Will Be Friday Night

The annual business meeting of the Ava Rural Fire Department will be held this Friday, Aug. 18, at the Mt. Zion Station.
The meeting will begin at 6 o’clock, with a hamburger and hot dog dinner following the business meeting.
If you are not a member of the Ava Rural Fire Department you will be able to join at the annual meeting. It is very important that everyone be a member of the fire department where they live.

Ava Rural Fire Department invites everyone to join them for the annual meeting and cookout. There is no charge for the meal, but donations will be appreciated.
The Mt. Zion Station is located on Route B northwest of Ava.
Directions: Take Highway 5 north from Ava two miles to the intersection of East Hwy. 76 and Route B. Turn left (west) on Route B and go two miles to the Mt. Zion Bible School. When you get to the school take the center drive on the west side and go up the hill to the firehouse.
Everyone is invited to come expecting to enjoy yourself and have fun while at the same time supporting your fire department.
