Bosom Buddies

Bosom Buddies is a local breastfeeding support group. We encourage all moms to attend, most importantly, pregnant moms. As a mother-to-be it is important to be aware of what is best for your baby and your family. When Bosom Buddies get together we discuss all aspects of motherhood, especially breastfeeding. We exchange great tips and ideas on being a mom as well as share our personal experiences – both the good and the bad. This is a great way to meet other moms in our area. Classes are taught by our Breastfeeding Peer Counselor who has firsthand experience with breastfeeding her own children. Classes cover topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, pumping and storing breast milk, overcoming breastfeeding difficulties, and how to breastfeed after returning to work. These classes are designed to help expectant moms make the best decision on how to feed their babies. In addition, they can be a vital tool for the breastfeeding mom who wants to make the most of her choice to breastfeed. Everyone is invited to attend these classes which will are held monthly.
