Two Sentenced To Jail Time In Court Here

During Judge Elizabeth Bock’s Associate Court Day on June 22, there were 184 cases on the docket. There were 58 misdemeanor cases, nine felony cases and 17 infractions. There were 14 misdemeanor pleas and 20 failure to appear warrants issued. There were also two felony cases that waived preliminary hearing and are now in Circuit Court. Justin Lemm, 30, Ava, was sentenced to two days in the Douglas County Jail for failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and two days in jail for speeding. The tickets were issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Michelle Richards, 38, Gainesville, was sentenced to 90 days in jail, of which 80 days were suspended, for DWI-prior offense. Richards is to serve 10 days in the Douglas County Jail. The offense occurred in December 2016 and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
