Kiwanis Club, Ava High School Name Citizens of the Month
Ava High School Citizens of the Month for February, pictured above with Glenda Little (left), president of the Ava Kiwanis Club, and assistant high school principal Nathan Houk (right) are Sandra Buff and Titus Pinckney.
Ava High School Citizens of the Month for February are Sandra Buff and Titus Pinckney. Both are seniors.
Titus is the son of Tanner and Mindy Pinckney.
Titus is a member of National Honor Society, FBLA, FCA, Student Council, and secretary of Pep Club. During high school he has also participated in golf for four years and football for three years.
He has participated in special community service projects including volunteering at the Ozark Food Harvest four times and he has helped package presents for kids at Mercy Hospital.
After high school Titus plans to attend College of the Ozarks to obtain a pre-pharmacy degree or business degree.
Titus’s teachers say he exemplifies the character word patience. He is a pleasure to have in class and works hard at everything he tries.
Sandra Buff is the daughter of Heinz Buff.
Sandra is a member of National Honor Society, FBLA, FCA, Anchor Club, and vice president of Pep Club. She has also run track all four years and played on the volleyball team for four years.
Sandra has served her community by helping with trash pickups around the community and volunteering at the Ozark Food Harvest.
After high school Sandra wants to attend College of the Ozarks in the fall and study to become a veterinarian assistant. She would also like to possibly play volleyball or run track at C of O.
Sandra’s teachers say she always represents AHS with class. She is a top-notch student and a citizen with a bright future.
