Miller-Hall Reunion

The 31st Miller-Hall Reunion was held the weekend of October 9th with a get-together at Jack and Barbara’s and on Sunday, October 10th at the Ava Community Center.

Margaret Rosseau was spokesperson for the day.

Bro. Larry Cook asked the blessing before the delicious potluck dinner was served.

There was a lot of sharing stories and taking lots of pictures. Gifts were presented to: youngest – Trinity Mitchell; oldest lady – Charlene Kingsley; oldest man – Delmar Rosseau; traveled farthest – Kenneth and Debbie Wise; girl drawing – Michala McCullough; boy drawing – Dakota Bell; guessing games – Violet Flair, Bevy Moore, Margaret Rosseau, Dale Hall, Charlene Kingsley, Jack Breshears; oldest direct descendent- Margaret Rosseau.

We were saddened by the loss of two of our oldest descendents – Violet Miller Morris and Nora Miller Deatherage Hunsaker.

Those attending this year’s activities were: Jack and Barbara Breshears; Delmar and Margaret Rosseau; Bob and Linda McCleary; Earnie and Helen Cook; John Howard Morris; John and Violet Flair; Roben Miller, Darrel, Stephanie and Aliaha; Joel Miller; Dall Hall; Charlene Kingsley; Larry Cook; Lonnie and Susan Cook; Eileen Richards, Brayden and Kyle; Mike and Tabitha McCullough; Trenton and Michala; Jessica and Trinity Mitchell; Dakota and Amanda Bell; Dwayne and Teresa Nash; Preston and Lisa Breshears; Gary and Bevy Moore’ and Coyda Burton.

We missed those that were not at the reunion this year due to illness and conflicting dates.

The 32nd Miller-Hall Reunion will be October 14 and 15, 2017.
