Seniors Kelly McDonald and Lacy Diel were crowned 2016 Homecoming King and Queen for Ava High School during halftime ceremonies of the football game here last Friday night. King runners-up were Benen Canape and Jacob Luebbering. Runners-up to the queen were Madalyn Barnes and Sandra Buff.

Homecoming Parade

Elementary and middle school students lined the streets in front of their schools last Friday afternoon to greet the Ava High School Homecoming parade as it passed. Many of the students made posters to welcome the parade and the high school students greeted the kids with candy.
