MOCH Facility In Mansfield Remodeled

Missouri Ozarks Community Health (MOCH) has recently completed renovations of the Mansfield Clinic. Financial support for this project was aided by the Affordable Care Act, Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) – Facility Improvements (P-FI) Grant through HRSA.

This funding, originally announced in August 2014, awarded approximately $35.7 million to support 147 health centers in 44 states with the construction of 21 new projects and renovation of 126 existing health centers.

“We’re making these investments so that health centers will be able to provide even higher quality services to the patients that rely upon them” said Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell.

MOCH will host an open house of the new facility located at 804 North Highway 5, in Mansfield, Mo. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016. The grand opening will be a community event that begins at 12:00 p.m. Missouri Ozarks Community Health will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and guests will learn about the continuum of health care services available while enjoying tours of the renovated facility. The clinic will officially open with “extended evening hours” on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016.

“MOCH is very pleased to have received this grant which has allowed us the ability to provide structural improvements to the clinic. Our plans now are to offer expanded care services with extended hours into the evening, Monday-Friday. Overall this project will provide improved clinic visibility and help improve access for our patients in the Mansfield and surrounding areas,” said CEO Tim Shryack.

The Mansfield clinic will be open Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for both children and adults. The evening hours from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. will see walk-in patients needing primary medical care services.

Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance is accepted, and for those with no health insurance, a sliding fee scale discount is offered based on income. Appointments are available by calling 417-924-8809.
