Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Activity Report 1.22.2015

During the week of Jan. 12 to Jan. 18 the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office answered 117 Calls for Service, and arrested and booked 16 individuals into the Douglas County Jail.
On Wednesday, Jan. 14, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department assisted in serving a federal search warrant in the eastern part of Douglas County.  One subject was taken into custody and another is pending state charges.  Further information will be forthcoming.
Douglas County citizens are still advised to lock their vehicle doors while driving.
On the evening of Jan. 11 a man attempted to get into a woman’s car while stopped at a stop sign near the intersection of Highway 14 and Route Z in western Douglas County.
The sheriff’s office has received several tips and information on the subject in question, but at this time he has not been located.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for Michael Bailey, 37, Stuart Yost, 26, and Justin Sartin, 25, for outstanding warrants. Currently there are 19 inmates in custody in the Douglas County Jail.
