Defendants Sentenced At January Law Day

During Circuit Court Law Day on Jan. 5, defendants were sentenced to the Missouri Department of Corrections, according to information released by the office of Prosecuting Attorney Chris Wade.
John Galloway, 48, Mtn. Grove, received a seven year sentence for felonious restraint. The incident occurred in June of 2014 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Kenneth Kelly, 48, Mtn. Grove, received a five year sentence for receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance with the sentences to run concurrently. The incident occurred in June of 2013 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Gregory Rawlins, 38, Ava, received a five year sentence for possession of controlled substance after having his probation revoked based on violation reports submitted by Probation and Parole. The original incident occurred January of 2010 and was investigated by the Ava Police Department.
Justin Stanton, 36, Crane, received a three year sentence for resisting arrest after his probation was revoked based on violation reports from Probation and Parole. The original incident occurred in 2008 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Dana Yeary, 36, Ava, received a two year sentence for possession of a controlled substance after her probation was revoked based on violation reports from Probation and Parole. The original incident occurred in October of 2013 and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
