Community Service Award Presented To Local Resident

Ed Purvis, CEO of Emerson Climate Technologies, was in Ava on Nov. 6 to present the Thomas E. Bettcher Community Service Award to Nancy Crain, an employee at Ava. For the past decade Crain has prepared care packages for servicemen overseas and supported fundraisers for the Wounded Warrior Project and Ozarks Honor Flight. The Bettcher Award is named for Tom Bettcher, former president and CEO of Emerson Climate Technologies.
