The City of Ava requests qualifications for architectural services to remodel a building originally built as a banking facility to be used as a City Hall.

The design firm will be required to follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding professional services and public works construction.

Information provided to the City must include, and firms will be evaluated in terms of, the following items:


  • The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to building construction, renovation, and remodeling (20%);
  • The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within time limitations (20%);
  • The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work and ability to meet schedules (30%);
  • The firm’s proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located (30%).

Please include references from previous clients involved with the firm within the past five years.
