AHS Students Make Improvements at Airport

The Ava High School Construction Trades Class has been busy at Ava’s Bill Martin Memorial Airport. The students have built and installed a new swing for visitors (photo above), installed a white board for training and are currently preparing for the installation of electric and water lines near the airplane tie down area (photo below). Students are applying the skills learned in the classroom as community service projects.
