The City of Ava, Missouri will conduct a public hearing concerning the request for a Conditional Use Permit by the Ava Assembly of God Church for property located at 1001 SW 4th Avenue, Ava, Missouri.

The applicant is requesting a Conditional Use Permit for the use of church offices.

Legal description:

All of a tract of land in the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 14, Township 26, Range 16 described as follows: Beginning at a point 50 feet South of the Northwest corner of said forty, run thence East 185-1/2 feet to an iron pin, thence South approximately 6-1/2 feet to the North end of the North-South fence, thence Southerly along said fence to a pine corner post 6 inches in diameter, thence on South 41-1/2 feet to the West side of a square concrete post 21 inches across, thence in a Northwesterly direction 100 feet to a pine corner post 6 inches in diameter, said pine corner post being located 26 inches Southeast of a wild cherry tree 11 inches in diameter, thence in a Westerly direction 86-1/2 feet to the Southwest corner of a square concrete post 12 inches across, said square concrete post being located on the West line of said forty at a point 242-1/2 feet South of the Northwest corner of said forty, thence North 192-1/2 feet to the point of beginning.

SUBJECT TO: Easements, restrictions, reservations, and other agreements and matters of record, if any.

This public hearing will be held by the City of Ava Planning & Zoning Commission on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Ava City Hall.

The approval of the city planning commission, after public hearing, shall be final and become effective in 15 days, unless an appeal is made to the legislative body within 15 days of the approval by the planning commission.
