Options Pregnancy Center Hosts Chamber Luncheon

Options Pregnancy Center hosted the noon luncheon meeting of the Ava Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, July 8, at the Ava Lions Club. Options Director Lacey Wallace (left) gave an overview of what Options Pregnancy Center offers to the local community, and showed a brief video featuring several babies born to clients of OPC.  The display above shows the actual size of the unborn baby as it grows from seven weeks to 30 weeks. Also shown are more pictures of babies born to OPC clients. Mrs. Wallace said OPC is not intended to replace routine prenatal care for expectant mothers, but the center can provide a free ultrasound, counseling, and helpful items for the baby. Several local churches also sponsor baby showers for babies born to clients of the center. Lacey invited Chamber members to stop by the center on the southeast corner of the Ava square and tour their facility during regular business hours.
