Local Gymnasts Perform at Hawaiian Luau Gymnastics in Springfield

CherNastics Gymnastics teams competed on Sunday, June 22, in the Summer Invitational Hawaiian Luau Gymnastics Competition held at Ozark Mountain Gymnastics in Springfield. It was an all day event with 485 children competing from all over the southwest Missouri area with ages ranging from 3 to 16. We had.
A total of 18 gymnasts from the Ava, Fordland, Mansfield and Seymour areas  participated.
Winners were announced as follows:
Preschool Beginners Division for ages 3 to 5: Alexia Blakey, Elizabeth Haynes, Sarah Kimball and Madelyn Sabillon. They all performed their routines and received trophies.
Beginner Division for age 5: Delanie Petty took 1st place and 1st place overall with a score of 9.57.
Beginner 1 Division for age 5: Khole Angel took 1st place and 1st place overall with a score of 9.25. Laikan Newman took 2nd place and 2nd place overall with a score of 9.10.
Beginner 2 Division for age 7: Emma Stewart took 1st place and 1st place overall with a score of 9.10.
Beginner 2 Division for age 8 & Up: Destinee Rivera took 3rd place and 3rd place overall with a score of 9.20.
Advanced Beginner Division age 5: Katie Brooks took 3rd and 3rd place overall with a score of 9.17.
Advanced Beginner Division age 7 & 8: Jasmin Sabillon took 4th place and 4th place overall with a score of 9.00 and Larkin Gamboa took 5th place and 5th place overall with a score of 8.92.
Advanced Beginner Division ages 10 & Up: Grace Stewart took 2nd place and 2nd place overall with a score of 9.25.
Low Intermediate Division for age 5: Chylynn Johnson took 3rd place and 3rd place overall with a score of 8.70.
Low Intermediate Division for ages 8 & 9: Corra Twyman took 2nd place and 2nd place overall with a score of 8.85.
Low Intermediate Division for age 10 & Up: Erycka Powell took 3rd place and 3rd place overall with a score of 8.82.
High Intermediate Division for age 8 & Up: Chloe Barnum took 2nd place and 2nd place overall with a score of 8.70.
Boys Low Intermediate Division ages 7 & up: Gabe Ferreira took 3rd place and 3rd place overall with a score of 7.60. The staff of CherNastics, Inc., the Seymour YMCA, and the Ava MOCH Center are very proud of these youngsters and their accomplishments.
