Michelle A. Tyner-Voigts, 42

Michelle A. Tyner-Voigts, age 42 of Bonner Springs, Kan., and previously of Ava, Mo., passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at her home.  Memorial Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday June 26, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with a visitation prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Vicki Welsh Ovarian Cancer Fund, in care of the funeral home.
Michelle was born on Oct. 4, 1971 in Harbor City, Calif., and moved to Ava, Mo., at the age of 2. She grew up in Ava and graduated from Ava High School in 1989, where she was very active in various sports. Michelle then attended Harding University in Searcy, Ark., graduating with a B.S. degree.  She had lived in St. Joseph, Mo., where she met Jeremiah Tyner-Voigts and they were married on April 10, 2004. Michelle had worked at Shinn Fu of America in Kansas City, Mo. for 16 years and had recently graduated from National American University with a bachelor of business.
She was preceded in death by her father J.C. Allen.
Survivors include her husband, Jeremiah Tyner-Voigts and son Cole Hockaday, of the home; her mother, Carol Allen, of Ava, Mo.; maternal grandmother, Elsie Atchision, of Ava, Mo.; two brothers, Ron Allen and wife Shanda, of Omaha, Ark., and Robert Allen and wife Delayna, of Judsonia, Ark.; and several other extended family and friends.
