New ‘Welcome to Ava’ Sign Will Be Installed Soon

After many months of planning and preparation, and with the cooperation of MoDOT and the City of Ava, the Ava Area Chamber of Commerce is announcing their new sign project. With the design completed and permits and production orders finally in place, the new “welcome” sign will soon be installed at the intersection of Highways 5 and 14, on the corner near McDonald’s. “This new ‘Welcome to Ava’ sign will not only be a source of beautification and pride for our town, but will also stand as a warm welcome to visitors and passers-by”, says Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Judy Shields.
