Ava High School Receives Nationally Recognized Award

Ava High School was recognized as a Bronze Medal school, according to the U.S. News & World Report on Best High Schools.  This award is based on the principles that a great high school must serve all of its students well, not just those who are collegebound, and must produce measurable academic outcomes to show the school is successfully educating its student body across a range of performance indicators.
Out of 31,242 public high schools in the United States, only 19,411 schools were eligible for rankings. Out of 480 high schools in Missouri, two schools were awarded gold medals, 13 with silver medals and 126 with bronze medals.
This is the third year in a row that Ava High School has received this award.
