Douglas County Public Library Announces Summer Reading Program

Readers of all ages will be transformed into scientists this summer as the Douglas County Public Library presents “Fizz, Boom, Read!” during the 2014 summer library program. Children from ages 3 to 11 can join us for stories, crafts, games and prize drawings each week.
Teens ages 12 to 18 can participate in “Spark A Reaction” by picking up a reading log at the library, completing the reading requirements and returning it to the library for prizes. Pre-registration is requested.
Ages 3 to 5 – Mondays, 10:30 to 11 a.m., June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7.
Ages 6 to 11 – Wednesdays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 4, 11, 18, 25 and July 2, 9
Ages 12 to 18 – Spark a Reaction! Pick up a reading log, complete and return tor prizes!
