Kenneth Wayne “Bubba” Fennell, 59
Kenneth Wayne Fennell, 59 years, passed away on Dec. 28, 2013 at his home with his family by his side.
“Bubba” was born Feb. 16, 1954 in Fresno, Calif., to Henry Augustus and Doris Jean (Wood) Fennell. He graduated from Selma High School in Selma, Calif.
He was employed as a quality controller for Scroll Compressors/Copeland Manufacturing Co. in Ava, Mo. He had lived in Ava for the past six years moving from the Gentryville community.
On Oct. 29, 1979 Bubba and Misty Roberts were united in marriage in Reno, Nev.
Bubba loved playing the lead guitar for all types of musical genres. He also loved riding motorcycles and was a master storyteller with the ability to hold your attention for days. He had a heart of gold and made friends easily.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents.
Bubba is survived by his wife, Misty Fennell, Ava, Mo.; three children, Justin Fennell, Ava, Mo., Ashley Fennell, Goodhope, Mo., and Ricky Najarian, state of Oregon; four grandchildren, Serenity Bristol, Aiden Lane, Malarie Fennell and Faith Najarian; one sister, Rhonda Fennell, and one brother, Don Fennell, both of California; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Bubba will be Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo., with cremation following per his request. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Greg Ranes. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
