Ival Wayne Lakey, 55

Ival Wayne  Lakey, 55 years, passed away on Dec. 4, 2013 at his home in Lebanon, Mo.
Wayne was born June 9, 1958 in Mansfield, Mo., to Ival Lyle and Beverly Karen (Tate) Lakey.
Wayne was a resident of Lebanon, Mo., and former resident of Douglas County. He grew up in the Ava area and went to Ava High School.
He had worked in a saw mill for several years as a head sawyer. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and loved  being in the outdoors. He especially delighted in being with his grandchildren.
Wayne was preceded by his parents.
He is survived by two children, Ival Shayne Lakey, Lebanon, Mo., and Shawna Denny, Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren, Evan Lakey, Shelby Denny, Paige Denny and Halle Denny; one brother, Lyle Blaine Lakey, Gainesville, Mo.; two sisters, Linda Downs, Mtn Grove, Mo., and Renee Coy, Strafford, Mo.; a special aunt, Rhonda (Tate) McNamer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family graveside service for Wayne were Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. in the Loftin Cemetery, east of Ava. Visitation was Monday  from  6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo. Officiating was Darrell Gunter.
