Susetta ‘Sue’ Potts, 79

Susetta “Sue” Potts, daughter of Johnnie Stout and Marie (Payne) Stout, was born March 3, 1934 in Vera Cruz, Mo., and passed away at 1:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 in Webco Manor Nursing Home, Marshfield, at the age of 79 years.
Sue worked for several years as a waitress and owned “Sue’s Café.” She was a member of the Happy Home Freewill Baptist Church in Ava, Mo.
She was preceded in death by a child that died in infancy; and four sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Durham and her husband, Tom, Ava, and Linda Goetz and her husband, David, Homer, Alaska; a step-son, Tom Potts and his wife, Cindy, Ava; four brothers, Leon Stout and his wife, Darlene, Ava, Donald Stout and his wife, Bonnie, Ava, Ronald Stout and his wife, Betty, Eldon, and Jay Stout and his wife, Sherry, Mansfield; two sisters, Linda Chamberlain and her husband, Gene, Marshfield, Jeanie Pruiett and her husband, Donnie, Ava; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, were at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in the Ava City Cemetery.  Visitation was from 1-2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
