Art Guild Announces People’s Choice Awards

The votes are in for the Ava Art Guild Fall Show People’s Choice awards. Jim Davis’ “Wild Turkey”, a 3D metal work entry won the Adult Division. This is a magnificent 4-foot representation.
The award for the under 18 division was won by Chalice Sleep’s colored pencil drawing titled, “Sleeping Puppy.” Chalice is an 11-year-old home schooled student from Ava. This is Chalice’s first entry.
The Art Guild congratulates both winners. Special recognition also goes to Revondah Baker, judge, and Rita Fancher, show director.
A special memorial exhibit opens at the gallery Nov. 1 through Nov. 23. This is a tribute to Guild member Caryn Fox’s late sister, Ellen Fox, and late father, Manny Fox. Visit our website at
