CBCO Blood Drive At Ava High School Tuesday, Oct. 15

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks and the Ava High School FFA will host a blood drive in Ava next Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Ava Performing Arts Center.
CBCO will be set up to receive donors from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Each donation will be awarded 1,000 LifePoints, which is CBCO’s new donor rewards program. LifePoints offers some great gifts to donors and is a great way to say thank you for your dedication.
On Oct. 3, CBCO issued a Code Yellow Alert for Type O Negative blood. At that time there was less than a two day supply of this type of blood on hospital shelves. Your donation is needed to replenish the supply.
It takes over 275 donations every day to meet the needs of the 38 area hospitals that use CBCO products.
The APAC is located on North Jefferson St., just north of Ava High School.
