CBCO Blood Drive Scheduled Here Wednesday, Sept. 25

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will be in Ava on Wednesday, Sept. 25, for a blood drive.
The collection site will be set up at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center, 2004 Crestview Street, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Each donation will be awarded 1,000 LifePoints which is CBCO’s new donor rewards program. LifePoints offers some great gifts to donors and is a great way to say thank you for your dedication.
CBCO has issued a Code Yellow Alert for O Negative blood type. There is less than a two-day supply of this type of blood on hospital shelves. Your donation is needed to help replenish the supply.
Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds and being in generally good health.
It takes over 275 donations every day to meet the needs of the 38 area hospitals that use CBCO products.
