Tuesday's Snowfall Creates Beautiful Winter Scenery

A drive along Old Highway 5 north of Ava Tuesday morning revealed the beauty of a winter landscape. This area received a snowfall accumulation of about one inch, and roads in this area were pretty well clear, with only spots of slush and ice. The heavy, wet snow clung to tree branches during the early morning hours, creating a storybook panorama.
