Lawrence Vance “Bubba” Cogdill, 37

Lawrence Vance Cogdill, 37 years, passed away on Oct. 4, 2012 at Ava, Mo.

Lawrence, or better known as “Bubba”, was born March 22, 1975 in French Camp, Calif., to Charles Richard and Caroline Aline (Hern) Cogdill.

“Bubba” was a resident of the Ava community for a few years moving from Lathrop and Manteca, Calif. He had worked in Lodi, Calif. at a steel plant as a welder. He had also worked as a plumber and other various jobs, like his Dad, “Dick.” They were both, “Jack of all trades and master of none.”

“Bubba” enjoyed fishing, snowboarding and playing video games. He was always joking or pulling a prank on his family or friends.  Most of all he loved being with his kids.

“Bubba” was preceded in death by his mother, and his father, Charles Richard “Dick” Cogdill in August of this year.

“Bubba” is survived by three children, a daughter, Skylor Bell, step-son, Jacob, and their mother, Amber Bell all of Ava, and Lawrence  Vance Cogdill Jr., state of California; one brother, Rick Marshall, Stockton, Calif.; four sisters, Kimberly Flynn and Dawn Conaway, both of Ava, Mo., Sheila Andrews, Turlock, Calif., and Vanessa Million, Lodi, Calif.; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
