Carolyn Ann Iott, 50
Carolyn Ann Iott, daughter of Bennie Lee Wayne and Paulette Voil (Welton) Iott, was born on Oct. 24, 1961 in Cabool, Mo., and departed this life on Sept. 24, 2012 at her residence near Ava, Mo. She was 50 years, and 11 months of age.
In 1970, at the age of 9, Carolyn moved from the Cabool area to Marshall, Mo. She lived there until 1984, and then moved to Gainesville, Mo. In July 1996, she made her home in the Ava, Mo., area, where she was living at the time of her passing.
She enjoyed teasing others, and taking car rides, letting the wind blow in her hair. She also loved visiting with her family.
Everyone around enjoyed her loving personality. Her favorite snack was M & M’s candy, which she dearly loved.
Carolyn will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie Iott; and by her mother, Paulette Iott Honeycutt; her grandparents, Avon and Voil Welton, Don Iott and Modine Truitt; and by three uncles, Kenny Iott, Frank Iott, and Donnie Iott.
Survivors include two brothers, Danny Iott and his wife, Lila, of Mtn. Grove, and James Iott and his wife, Elaine, of Cabool, Mo.; one sister, Roselee Maloney and her husband, Jon, of Bolivar, Mo.; six nephews, Jeff Iott, Chris Iott, Ricky Carder, Bentley Iott, Chance Iott, and Jonathan Beechem; six nieces, Carla Brashers, Lee Ann Maloney, Amy Iott, Melissa Iott, Jolisa Iott, and Megan Iott; great-nephews and great nieces; her family at Brooke Care; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Carolyn Iott were held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. in the Tetrick Cemetery with Pastor Buddy Boyd officiating. Jon Wilson sang “Amazing Grace,” and “How Great Thou Art.” Pallbearers were Danny Iott, James Iott, Jon Maloney, Jeff Iott, Chris Iott, and Slade Iott. Burial was in the Tetrick Cemetery under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Mo.
