Driver Hospitalized Following Wreck In Eastern Douglas Co.

Susan I. Willhite, 39, of Mtn. Grove suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash in eastern Douglas County last Saturday morning.

Willhite was taken to Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, by ambulance following the 7:15 wreck that occurred 15 miles west of West Plains on Highway 14 in Douglas County.

Troop G, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Willow Springs, said the wreck occurred when the 2008 Jeep Wrangler ran off the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side.
