Miller-Hall Reunion
The 27th annual Miller-Hall Reunion was held at the Ava City Park on September 30, 2012. There were about 40 family members and friends in attendance due to illness and weather.
Margaret Rosseau was spokesperson for the day. Bob Miller asked the blessing before the potluck dinner was served.
The day was spent sharing stories, pictures and events during the year. Eileen Richards wrote a poem. Memories of the past years were shared and a discussion was on the next year’s reunion.
Family group pictures were taken for one reunion picture album.
Gifts bags were presented to all children.
Those enjoying the day in spite of the cool weather were Jack and Barbara Breshears and Miracle; Roben Miller, Darrell Adams, Stephanie Watkins, Madison and Jackson Adams; Eileen Richards, Angel and Woody Hill; Mike and Tabitha McCullough, Michala, Hunter and Trenton; Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage; Preston and Lisa Breshears; Jennifer and Bryan Withers; Earnie and Helen Cook; Chris Breshears, Terry and Delayna Dry, Margaret and Delmar Rosseau; Tina, Stephanie and Brittney Wilson; John Howard Morris from Leeton, MO. Bob and Linda McCleary; Mack Miller; Bob Kelley; Bob and Susie Miller all from Ava area.
There were about 25 at the get-together at Jack and Barbara on Saturday night.
Next year, the 28th annual Miller-Hall Reunion will be Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the Ava City Park.
