Norwood School Board Meets Sept. 19

The Norwood R-1 School Board met Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the school.

The agenda was adopted and the consent agenda items were approved.

John Eaton, superintendent, reported on budget, utility usage and other district business. Jared Terry, elementary principal, reported on enrollment and other news from EC-5.

Brian Wilbanks, high school principal, reported on enrollment and other news from 6-12.

Parents as Teachers evaluation and the At-Risk program evaluation were approved.

The board also approved the liability insurance survey.

David Hendrix was hired to teach calculus three hours a week.

Glen Ussery’s resignation as a route bus driver was accepted and Arie Wedge was hired for a bus route.

Next Norwood R-1 School Board meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. in the high school library.
