Douglas County Council Meets at Bethany Baptist

Douglas County Council met at Bethany Baptist Church with 11 ladies present.

The meeting began at 9 a.m.

The host club, Nubbin Ridge, provided entertainment and snacks.

President Norma Stillings called the meeting to order then led the reading of the Club Collect.

Minutes were read and approved.

Roll call was answered with “Have you ever had a stress test?”

Norma presented the lesson, “Women and Heart Disease.”

Next was election of officers. The ladies all agreed to serve another year as follows: President Norma Stillings, Vice President Carol Riggs, Secretary/Treasurer Lois Strong, Reporter Nadine Letsinger, Chaplain Doris Holman.

Remember D.O.W. Achievement Day. Bring lots of good, clean useable items for the silent auction. Proceeds go to buy wigs for ladies undergoing treatment for cancer.
