Gladys Pauline Morse, 79

Gladys Pauline Morse, 79 years, passed away on Sept. 8, 2012, at Lawrence County Manor, Mt. Vernon, Mo.
Gladys was born March 10, 1933 in Ava, Mo., to Lymon Perry and Lottie (Fleetwood) Freeman.
Gladys was a resident of Mtn. Grove, Mo., since 1989, moving from Sanger, Calif. She was a homemaker.
In 1970, Gladys and Dallas Morse were united in marriage in Madera, Calif.
Gladys enjoyed embroidery, quilting, smoking her cigarettes, drinking her coffee, people watching and baking cookies for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dallas, and one brother, Stanley Freeman.
Gladys is survived by three children, Larry Hale, Mtn. Grove, Mo., Debbie Webb, Republic, Mo., Terry and Mary Hale, Mtn. Grove, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Bryan Hale, Orlando, Fla., Justin Phipps and family, Fresno, Calif., Aaron Paccassi and family, Mtn. Grove, Mo., Nichole Robertson and family and Andrea Rador and family, all of Springfield, Mo., Ranee Rhodes and family and Amy Hale and family, all of Mtn. Grove, Mo.; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elva Holmes and family, Gatesville, Texas, and Wilma Parsons and family, Fresno, Calif.; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Gladys will be Thursday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Brushy Knob Cemetery, east of Ava. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Brushy Knob Cemetery.
