Highway Patrol Announces Personnel Changes

Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, Willow Springs, announces several personnel changes in the Douglas/Ozark counties area. The transfers were effective Aug. 1.
Corporal Charley A. Hogue has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and has transferred from Zone 10, Northern Howell/Shannon counties, to the newly-created Zone 11, Douglas/Ozark counties, and has been designated the zone commander of Zone 11.
Trooper Dale B. Pounds has been promoted to the rank of corporal and has transferred from Zone 2, Texas County, to Zone 10, Northern Howell/Shannon counties. He has been designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 10.
Trooper Daniel J. Johnson has transferred from Zone 10, Northern Howell/Shannon counties, to Zone 11, Douglas/Ozark counties. He has been designated a marine operations trooper.
Trooper Amye D. Johnson has transferred from Zone 7, Southern Howell/Oregon counties, to Zone 5, Douglas/Ozark counties.
Trooper Joshua V. Garrison has transferred from Zone 5, Douglas/Ozark counties, to Zone 7, Southern Howell/Oregon counties.
Trooper Jason W. Philpott has transferred from Troop I, Rolla,  to Troop G, Willow Springs. He is assigned to Zone 5, Douglas/Ozark counties, and has been designated a marine operations trooper.
Tpr. Philpott joined the patrol on July 1, 2009, from recruit class 90.
Philpott, the son of Bill and Terry Philpott of Ava, was assigned to Troop I Zone 4 Pulaski and Maries counties from the Academy.
He served there until his current assignment of Troop G Zone 5, Douglas and Ozark counties, as a Marine Operations Trooper, which was effective Aug. 1.
Philpott graduated from Ava High School in 2005 and from Drury University in Springfield in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and psychology.
