Ava Native Has Book Published

Predestination – A Life Transformed is the title of Ava native Michael D. Young’s new action-thriller novel, seasoned with a dash of romance and humor.
The paperback version is now available in the US, UK, and mainland Europe on Amazon.com or through other online retailers and bookstores.  A digital eBook version will also be available soon.
Michael enlisted the expertise of his sister, Kendra Young, to design and illustrate the cover.
The suspense filled story takes you from his hometown and hometown school to the Arizona desert, to Egypt, and back again to the US over a period of time and after many life and death battles with the evil Dr. Spawn.
Dr. Spawn is a scientist gone mad with a power hungry plot to control the world through forced injection of a DNA altering drug with Michael being his first victim.
Michael can’t turn his back on his hometown, classmates, and the world since his destiny is to champion the cause of justice.
This story was revealed to Michael as a teenager through a two month series of dreaming at night and writing during the day while on summer vacation between high school grades. Aava and Victors Entrance Academy are substituted for hometown and school names to avoid any publicity rights issues as the story is fiction.
Michael is the son of Carmen Young and grandson of Glen and Wanda Ray of Ava.  He currently attends College of the Ozarks and “hopes people will enjoy reading his book as much as he did writing it.”
