Pre-Enrollment Aug. 2 and 3 At Ava Schools

Pre-enrollment for new and transfer students entering kindergarten through grade 12 at Ava Public Schools will be held on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 2 and 3.
Students will be enrolled from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. on those days, in the middle school/high school cafeteria, 507 NE 3rd St.
Students coming to register will need to bring their birth certificate, current immunization records, Social Security card, proof of residence (utility bill, personal property tax receipt, etc.), and previous school records or last grade card if available.
If you do not have your birth certificate, a copy can be obtained through the Douglas County Health Department for a small fee.
Representatives from each building will be on hand on Aug. 2 and 3 and a school nurse will be present to verify records and help get children enrolled for the 2012-13 school year.
