Douglas County Democrats Will Meet July 10

The Douglas County Democrats will meet July 10 at Krazy Daze’s Kitchen & Steakhouse at 5 p.m. in their meeting room. Teresa Tost will give an update on the Democratic Convention she attended at Lake of the Ozarks on June 8 and 9, candidate updates and information on upcoming events.

Also an update will be shared on the fundraising effort at the Farmers Market where the funds from the sales will go to the Back Pack Program for Ava Schools.

Everyone is invited to the meetings which begin with a meal and friendship and then to our business meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Discussions will include the August 2012 Organization dates for the congressional district after the primary election in August. As of now the county Central Committee district meeting will be held on Aug. 21, then everyone is invited to the organization meeting for Congressional District 8 at 7 p.m. The location will be finalized later but it looks like Van Buren is the geographic center located in our District.
