Virginia Lee Johnson, 83

Virginia Lee Johnson, 83 years, passed to heaven on June 13, 2012 at Springfield Rehabilitation Health Care Center, Springfield, Mo.

Virginia was born Aug. 23, 1928 in Tulsa, Okla., to Aude Ervan and Alice Lena (Albright) Johnson.

Virginia was a resident of Springfield, Mo., for several years moving from the Ava area after she graduated from high school. She was a Christian and a member of the Caney General Baptist Church in the Brownbranch community.

She is survived by one sister, Marian Cunningham, Fordland, Mo., and one brother, Kenneth Johnson and wife, Lois, Raytown, Mo.; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Virginia were Saturday, June 16 at 2 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. James Hathcock.
