BACA Annual Car Show Will Be Friday, Saturday

The SHOTO Chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) will hold their third annual Bike, Trike and Car Show this Friday and Saturday at the showgrounds of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association north of Ava on Highway 5.
In conjunction with the bike and car show, there will be craft booths, live entertainment, kids games and much more to entertain the entire family.
Best of all, admission is free.
Gates will open at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon and again at 9 a.m. Saturday.
A special feature on Friday night will be a special appearance by Louie, the official mascot of the Springfield Cardinals, who will be on hand to have his picture taken with the kids from 5 to 7 p.m.
There will also be a karaoke contest with a $100 first prize, with live music to follow.
On Saturday there will be a bicycle decorating contest and safety course for kids, messy games for the kids (bring a change of clothes), bounce houses and a dunking booth.
Race cars from I-44 Raceway will also be on hand, along with the vehicles competing in the car show.
The car show will include 22 classes, with another 20 classes to involve the bikes, trikes and tractors..
Registration is 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon with trophies to be awarded at 3 o’clock.
