T.O.P.S.
Tuesday, May 15th T.O.P.S. #0720 met and was called to order by Sharon with sixteen weighing in with a total loss of 13.5 lbs. Top loser was Sharon. The top loser for the month of April was Sue, who also won the Hee-Haw contest. The May 8th meeting was canceled due to Truman’s birthday the courthouse was closed.
The meeting was a review and revision of local chapter by-laws. Changes were made on a line by line review eliminating areas that duplicated those areas within international rules and clarifying other areas. Copies will be made and handed out to all members.
The meeting ended with TOPS Pledge being recited by members. T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a non-profit, international weight loss support group open to anyone seven years of age or older. The MO #0720 chapter meets every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the basement of the courthouse. Come visit us and sit in on a meeting, if you would like to find out more about T.O.P.S.
