All entries must be at the gallery no later than 4 p.m. on May 28. They can be brought to the gallery before the deadline date. The show director has the right to refuse any entry she does not feel is appropriate for the venue.
For non-members all entries need to be picked up on or about Monday, June 4. Members are encouraged to continue to display items, and may sell items with 10 percent going to support the gallery. Items do not have to be for sale to be displayed.
This is a great opportunity to show your art in a local venue that will be seen by visitors to the gallery.
On Saturday, May 19, the Ava Art Guild will conduct an art workshop to introduce attendees to a new form of art that is presented by an artist. This month the attendees will be learning beading from Kathleen Skkema. Social time starts at 1 p.m., a short business meeting at 1:30 and the workshop starts at 2 p.m. All supplies are provided by the Art Guild and everyone is welcome.
