Magdalena "Margie" Irene Otteson, 87

Magdalena Irene Otteson, 87, passed away on April 29, 2012 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, Mo.

Margie was born Sept. 16, 1924 in Poppenhausen, Germany to Wilhelm and Karoline Back.

She was a resident of the Mansfield community since 1971 moving from Kentucky. On April 14, 1953 Margie and Ardith (Art) Otteson Sr. were united in marriage and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by two children, Ardith Otteson, Jr., Mansfield, Mo., and Elmer and Judy Otteson, Reno, Nev.; one granddaughter; two sisters; and other relatives and friends.

Rosary services will be Saturday, May 5, at 2 p.m. the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with Father Paul Wightman conducting and burial of the cremains following in the Ava Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association.
