City Phone Service Affected by Storm Wednesday Morning

The City of Ava’s telephone system was affected by the storm that went through Branson and Taney County early Wednesday morning.
Efforts were being made during the day and into the night Wednesday to correct the problem, and hopefully full service will be restored soon.
In the meantime, if you have an emergency and are unable to reach the Ava Police Department or Ava City Utilities, you may call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 683-1020, and the information will be passed along to the proper agency.
